Abdicated in 1217 in favour of her son Ferdinand III.

Died in 1246 at Las Huelgas. She was buried in the Monastery of Las Huelgas near Burgos.

Died in 1390 at Alcala de Henares.

Buried with his first consort Queen Eleanor of Aragon in Toledo Cathedral.

Died in 1474 in Madrid.

Buried in Guadalupe Monastery.

His second consort Queen Joan of Portugal was buried in the Convent of San Francisco in Madrid (demolished).

Buried in the Monastery of San Lorenzo de El Escorial.

His Queen Louise Elizabeth of Orléans was buried in the Church of St Sulpice in Paris (no tomb).
